The Monitoring European Legal Developments platform offers a unique searchable database which informs about EU legislative proposals since the Lisbon Treaty, and is combined with an instant early warning service when new legislative proposals are transmitted to the European Parliament and the parliaments of EU Member States.
Being informed about new legislation in the European Union is increasingly important for national parliaments as well as regional parliaments with legislative powers in EU Member States which participate in subsidiarity control within the early warning system but also in the implementation and enforcement at national and sub-national levels.
